FLYING THROUGH THE RANKS
FLYING THROUGH THE RANKS

by G.A. 'Black' Robertson.
Air Marshall Black Robertson, has brought together a fabulous selection of contributors who served in a variety of roles, all willing to share very different stories from their time in service, often with a touch of humour.
It is interesting how many have chosen to share an experience that wasn't their finest day in service. One that would often end with a rocket from the boss, but one that they clearly learnt from & never forgot.
We even hear from the Air Marshall himself!
What many of the stories reveal is how often they came within seconds of potential disaster. Their instinctive reactions & training cannot be understated.
From incidents during training, to conflicts in the Falklands, Kosovo & the Gulf.
From the cockpits of many a favourite aircraft that appeared on many bedroom walls & modelling tables.
It has been a real treat to read more stories from people so deserving of our admiration & thanks.
I'm sure any reader buying this book will also fund themselves flying through the pages.
The hardback edition of the book is available now, published by Grub Street Publishing.
I thank Grub Street for this review copy.
